No other peeps sitting with us as there is a booking in the later slots so only 2 of us attended by the chef. hee~ All the dishes will be cooked in front of us except the garlic rice will be cooked by other chefs.. Another thing is lucky we sat at the sides, else we’ll get oily when the chef is cooking..

Service 8/10
The service was fast due to the crowd coming in during the late evening.. After eating the appetisers, the cooked food are ready to be served. After finishing a dish, the server will clear away the plates so that it won’t look messy. Green tea is being replenish when the drink is half the cup. After dinner, they brought us to another area away from the heat to enjoy our complimentry desserts.

Food 7/10
The appetisers are quiet okay, not too much to fill your stomach while waiting for the food. The food is slightly salty which usually occurs in teppanyaki.. But overall, its quite alright. The steaks were nicely medium cooked as per ordered, tender & juicy..  A plate of complimentry veg (bean sprouts) given so can dun order veg. Complimentry dessert given which we chose green tea ice cream & mango pudding which was nice..

Another holiday.. A celebration which me & my colleagues will be worry about. Every yr at least sth may go wrong on this day of celebration at my work place. Its either residents burnt the bin down @ the bin chute or had a incident of resident had his room burnt. *Headache* Hopefully nth will go wrong this time.. *worried*

Yesterday Mr Oo celebrated my Birthday in very early advance for me. Took leave for the day. Went to had set lunch @ North Border Bar & Grill located at 2 Rochester.  So happy cuz i’ve been wanting to go there. Then to KTV & follow by he brought me to sit the cable car (which i din even thought that he will bring me) lol~ Initally he wanted to had dinner in there but the lunch made us feel so full even we ate early & i feel that its so ex lor.. Was a pleasent evening sitting in the car but its a little warm in there that’s all.. After reaching back to Mount Faber, the place starts to spray out soap forms snow. So both of us took a X’mas pic in advance.. ha~

By the way, my wish-list is up. *smile*

These 3 days boss on leave. So horray for us.. lol~ Can be a little ’stress-less’ to tomorrow’s holiday. Bit boring so post wat i eat for Breakfast & Lunch. Donut from my new colleague which he bought it from Clementi, a shop beside Mac. Its Yummy, cheese on the top & cheese as the filling.. Sooo cheesy.. but the filling not so much so cheese flavour in it so u won’t feel so yucky after eating few bites of it. Char Siew Rice was my lunch. Was lazy to walk to the hawker centre under the hot sun.

Tml is National Day. *Yeah* I like National Day.. Participated in NDP for 2 different year. One in 1999 & another in 2005. Every yr i can’t get free tix including this yr (1st time @ Marina Bay) which i got to stay @ home to watch. Hopefully next yr i can get them. But being there & watching it on TV has so much difference.. The Crowd, the Cheers but one which i like the most is the fireworks. When the fireworks start to perform in the sky, you can start to hear the WOW all around you..

‘Happie Birthday Singapore!!’

Went Cineleisure to watch ‘alone’ with Mr Oo.. The story wasn’t that scary but juz tt the sound was so loud that u’ll get scared. Mayb if u’re twin also dun watch it bah.. The ending was a little diff as the main actress was actually the imposer. Guess this is why i dun really like to watch ‘horror’ / ‘ghostly’ movie.. I do have a wide range of imaginations. So i actually tend to scare myself. Poor Mr Oo had his arm squeeze by me.. hee~ So try not to ask mi out for these shows on the ’special’ month (which is coming soon) I may end up a scary cat scaring myself..

Last Sat went to celebrate Xinying’s bday. Sort of gave her a surprise when Kenny brought her to meet up with us. Had Dinner @ Takaya Bristro (Upper Thomson Branch). Saw it in one of the bloggers, Natsu’s blog writting how yummy the food was. So went down to taste them..

ambience: 7/10
Its located along with the other shops, lucky their signboard was big enough to see.. Entered the restaurant and the background was playing japanese songs. Its a small shop with not more than 20 tables i think (din really count) It was quite quiet till more peeps came in later in the evening. All had made their reservations. Mayb the next time i’ll go the branch at Chinatown to give it a comparison..

food: 7.5/10
The sashimi fresh. The tempura was a little crispy (comes with Mayonnaises) than the usual ones with only a thin layer of crisp. The cold soba was diff as it was serve ready in the sauce. The tofu was nice. Overall the food was nice other than the hot sake wasn’t that nice - tasteless with no alcohol in it.

service: 8/10
Their service was prompt & the waitress helped us in ordering the food ( like which dish is more popular, hw much we need to order & etc..) The topping up of green tea was efficient cuz the cup was a little smaller than the ones in Sakae Sushi or Sushi Tei. Overall not bad..

Had not been blogging for more than a mth.. okie.. I know i know.. like wat Blur had wrote, the donuts are growing moulds on them.. Juz had another residents meeting (EOGM) last sat.This was the 2nd time after the recent one in May.
Few gd & bad stuffs happened for this one mth.. My grandpa admitted to Hospital & Doc said it was due to Heart Attack.. One of my colleagues resigned and we are now waiting for a new colleague to come so we can clear our annual leave & lessen the work load.
On the other hand, I’ve started my Jap Basic_2 & joined a dance class on both Sat & Sun.  Plus my ex-CCA’s frens had asked mi to take part in the IDD (International Deaf Day) performance with some of the ex-members. These will keep me busy for the time being. Mr Oo & i had took up fishing with the influence by his best fren, actually this sport i’ve been asking him to take up for long time onli recently he’s keen in it. Started few wks ago, a day b4 Tingting’s bday where i got all the sandflies’ bites on now i’m having ugly patches on both my ankles & thighs.. Oh ya, forget to thank Jerlyn for the very belated bday pressie..

Here are some of the unposted pics.. Dinner with gracey & her parents @ this not very attractive but served good food restaurant - First Thai Food.. The glass topped tables with a shelf below for cutlery, magazines and free tissue paper for diners. Food is ordered by ticking on a form. Another attraction of this shop is that they do not have the 7% GST (Goods & Service Tax) & Service Charge

The shop is small with abt 10 tables in it.. Though the staffs did assist us in the ordering but they seems very busy in this little shop.. Still acceptable though we have a little problem when we asked for help after all the food are served. Not sure if we are able to call for reservation since there are limited seats but i managed to find their number.
Food 8/10
Simple but yet delicious no wonder the flow of peeps coming in & out non-stop. We order a medium soup & the rest small, the portion for the food are just nice for 4 of us.. not too full. The soup is not too spicy.. The Kailan still has the crisps in it.. The fried pork with basil leaves taste a little salty but goes well with rice.. The pomfret is crispy deep fried topped with the sweet & sour sauce gives us the appetite t0 eat more.. Oh ya, and the desserts which i forgot to take the pics ( Sticky rice with durian & Tapioca with coconut milk) are yummy..

Mothers’ Day came too rush this yr.. Din really celebrate, just brought my mum, both my sis & Mr Oo to Ju Bao Seafood for dinner and to celebrate the number 2’s bday which happened to be on the same day. So there goes the pics…
