Another mth past w/o updating… busy mi.. *hurhur*

On Fri the 13th went out with the HIghpers for dinner.. We had Pasta @ Pasta de Waraku located at Square2. Its been quite some time since we met each other but we din took any grp photos. After dinner, we went to U.d.d.e.r.s Ice cream for ICE CREAM!!! Been there for the 1st time. A wide variety of flavours from liqueur to asian-inspired to cosmopolitan… so much for you to choose… There is also a few games in the shop to kill time such as taboo, a monopoly-like detective game and etc… Cosy place with nice staffs and yummy ice creams made our day…

Mama went Viet with Aunt & Sis.. Bought back Mangoes & Avocado which are as big as my palm.. Woo..

End of my balloon making session after 1 mth located @ Orchard Hotel… kinda miss the kids crowd and also not forgetting my partner, Patricia, who had taught mi to twist quite a number of designs…

Wanted to post this quite some time back but seems to forget abt it.. Its the Vinco Doughnuts.. By now most of you sld know abt this shop other than the Doughnut Factory which i haven been to yet. Heard that you have to be prepared to be in the long queue before you can purchased the doughnuts.. Since i’m at Vivo so i decided to buy a dozen home to try (i dun eat all.. its for sharing) Guess i haven been eating doughnuts for quite long time thus these different flavours looks attractive than the normal icing or chocolate coated doughnuts. So here are some of the pics i’ve snapped..

Yesterday meet YS to The Cathay for free cone & dinner as he’s going Aust. for his army thingy.. Reached @ abt 6.15pm saw the queue was short so i just sat ard.. Then i wonder is there another stall above on the 3rd lvl cuz there’s also peeps queuing up there.. Then come to realise tt the queue starts from the top.. Omg.. So i went to queue 1st while waiting for him to reach ( He’s super late..) To my surprise, it was fast.. Within 10mins, i had mine.. When finally he reached (which is  almost late), we went to queue get his share & mine again in fast pace.. hee~

After the treat, he accompanied me to Heeren to get Mr Oo’s tee changed then walked further down to Lucky Plaza Food Court for dinner.. This stall was intro to me by Serendipity.. I’ve forgotten to take down the stall no. but its easily to be spotted.

Last by not least, have a gd trip YS.. Remember to buy me gift when you are back ya,  if you are reading this.. hee~

Went to had dinner @ e.BlackBoard last sat with Mr Oo, Kenny & his gf.. Had saw the post from ieatishootipost so decided to try the food there.. The place was not difficult to find as i thought it would, parking was fine (gonna park nearer inside as the shop is on the other end of the block from the entrance of the carpark.) Din get to take a pic of the queue after us.. Lucky tt we had already decided wat we want to eat before-hand, else we’ll be in that long queue.. Its more of like Botakjones located in a CoffeeShop kind..

ambience: 5/10
Coz its @ coffeeshop so not so much of the ambience juz very family..
service: 6/10
The svc is quick but the servers not so helpful (mayb busy but then the tone nt so nice)
food: 7.5/10
The lamb bit too small in the BB Mixed Grill, a little more sauce to the steaks & bratwursts will be better, not able to choose the sides (onli left with fries & coleslaw) But the 11″ Veal Bratwurst is nice and soft (easy to cut), the Pork with the pineapple sauce on it makes a different to the pork chop u’ve eaten else where.. So overall the food is nice there.. Go give it try if you are @ Bedok..

After dinner, we went to Geylang for Dessert as we were way too early for the drinking session… The dessert - Gwai Ling Go (for those who dunno - the pic below) its gd for those with indigestion, sensitive skin, constipation & etc.. I’m having the nomal flavour and the rest had menthol flavour (the bowl with blue strip on it) you can also add honey to it if you dun really take bitter.. The shop not onli selling this but also herbal tea, mango pudding (if i nv notice wrongly cuz i always go for Gwai Ling Go) & etc.. The shop is located along the main road on the right hand side & easy to spot but as for parking, its either to try luck to see if there lot infront of the shop or park further & walk..
