Cook a meal #1
Katsu-karē + Miso soup
Cooked a meal @ Mr Oo’s place. Its been almost 1/2 yr since i cooked. As Sundays i had to attend class thus dun really have the energy to do cooking. Had bought the curry ’sauce’ 2wks back & actually wanna cook but juz pure lazy. Yesterday i finally did it. With the help from Grace + her mummy, i manage to get the right part of the pork *hurhur* and the procedure thru here. Actually not difficult & can be fixed in 2 hrs. Here it is. *tatara*

Look good? hee~No bad comments given so = ‘passed’
Fish Soup for Lunch..
This stall sells nice fish soup (my opinion) Everytime during lunch hours, u’ll get to see the queue. If u dun mind waiting for half hour which i consider it the fastest during peak hour then go ahead to eat. Unlike the normal fish soup stall, they use tomatoes, beancurd, bittergourd, they uses cabbages (lots of it) though they also have bittergourd (by request). Then u can start to mixed the meat, like fresh fish with fried fish, with pork, meatballs, fishballs, or u can have mixed pig’s organ soup. For me, i think the soup taste nice as they added ‘wine’ which i think is the ’shao xin jiu’ in to enhance the taste. I’m not to sure if they had add MSG in the soup as i dun feel thirsty after eating. You can have either rice / mee sua / bee hoon / yee mee to go with the soup.

Had not been blogging for more than a mth.. okie.. I know i know.. like wat Blur had wrote, the donuts are growing moulds on them.. Juz had another residents meeting (EOGM) last sat. This was the 2nd time after the recent one in May.
Few gd & bad stuffs happened for this one mth.. My grandpa admitted to Hospital & Doc said it was due to Heart Attack.. One of my colleagues resigned and we are now waiting for a new colleague to come so we can clear our annual leave & lessen the work load.
On the other hand, I’ve started my Jap Basic_2 & joined a dance class on both Sat & Sun. Plus my ex-CCA’s frens had asked mi to take part in the IDD (International Deaf Day) performance with some of the ex-members. These will keep me busy for the time being. Mr Oo & i had took up fishing with the influence by his best fren, actually this sport i’ve been asking him to take up for long time onli recently he’s keen in it. Started few wks ago, a day b4 Tingting’s bday where i got all the sandflies’ bites on now i’m having ugly patches on both my ankles & thighs.. Oh ya, forget to thank Jerlyn for the very belated bday pressie..
I miss u gals so much.. Its been long time since we met..
Happie Mothers’ Day
Mothers’ Day came too rush this yr.. Din really celebrate, just brought my mum, both my sis & Mr Oo to Ju Bao Seafood for dinner and to celebrate the number 2’s bday which happened to be on the same day. So there goes the pics…

On Labour Day
Woke up early morning just to eat this famous Ba Kut Teh (alot of actors & actresses went there too with lots of photos at the stall) with my Mum & Dad. They have another stall at Havelock Rd which only operate at night. Its been a long time since i’ve been there to eat cuz have to wake up early morning during weekends/holiday to avoid the crowd.. Before they moved to Tanjong Pagar PSA area, they were located@ Outrum Park before the flats were demolished.. Reached there about 9plus and the crowd is starting the filled up the seats. After we get our seats, there’s the paper(forgotten to take tt pic) for us to choose what we wanna eat & then pass to the service staff.. oh ya, for those who likes to eat Ba Kut Teh, remember to ask the thick/sweet dark soy sauce from them.. Dun use the one in the bottle cuz it dun go well with the meat as told by my parents..

Ju Bao Seafood’s Opening Day
Went Mr Oo’s Colleague’s Hubby’s new opening stall (Such a long link..) with a few friends yesterday.. The photos taken below other than the omelette, the rest of the dishes was finished up within minutes due to hunger.. So in order to get the pics, i waited near the kitchen to take some.. The comment they gave was positive. The place is quite near the bus stop & near the ‘main’ road so there’s no problem in finding it. Do give it a try..

service 8/10
Their svc is fast with the rest of the orders. If you are there at non-peak hrs, its even faster than usual. They mayb able to take call orders then u can juz drive there to pick up on certains day. Do call to find out more..
food 8.5/10
Try their Crispy Oat Chicken, the hot & crispy stir-fry oat together with the chicken (better than popcorn chic). Its like the Crispy Oat Prawn replace by Chicken.. The way they cook the omelette is just nice. Some cooked omelette with its centre no cooked & usually their omelette are very thin piece.. Ju Bao’s omelette is thick and big though thick but its all cooked.. *Yummy*
